Swoop Takes Off from PSP with Service to Edmonton
Palm Springs, California – Palm Springs International Airport celebrated the arrival of Swoop
yesterday evening.
Swoop is a Canadian Ultra Low-Cost Airline and was established in 2018 as an independent
subsidiary of the WestJet Group of Companies, and they will be flying nonstop to Edmonton, Canada
twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. The flights will be operated on their 737-800NG aircraft with inseat power and Wi-Fi.
“We are thrilled to begin service to Palm Springs International Airport with the announcement of
our new non-stop service to Edmonton,” said Charles Duncan, President of Swoop. “With more than three
million travellers having already experienced Swoop’s incredible service and ultra-low fares we are
confident this new route will be a huge success.”

Director of PSP. “The new service from Swoop will be a great option for locals wishing to visit Edmonton,
