Volunteer Opportunities
Make a difference in the community while creating unforgettable experiences for travelers and visitors. Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) offers two exciting ways to get involved:
Airport Navigators
Airport Navigators are friendly volunteers who welcome travelers and help them feel at ease. Navigators assist with wayfinding throughout the terminal, provide airline and ground transportation information, and share maps and visitor resources for Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. They also work closely with airline representatives and airport staff to connect passengers with the services they need.
You’ll find Navigators stationed at the Information Counter near the central lobby on the way to baggage claim, as well as roaming the terminal to offer help wherever it’s needed. They are generally available during busy travel times, seven days a week.
Palm Springs Air Museum
The Palm Springs Air Museum was established nearly 30 years ago to showcase a wider variety of modern and historical aircraft. Offering warbird rides, a bustling café, and a variety of signature events, the museum has become a cultural touchstone in the region. Its popularity means it’s always in need of volunteers.
Museum Volunteers can work in specific hangars according to their interest, or can work in alternative roles in customer service, library, tech, and ramp crew.
