Online Plan Submittal
Any improvement within the airport property—whether temporary or permanent construction, minor or major tenant structural upgrades—requires approval from the PSP Airport Executive Director or his/her designee. Once approval is obtained, the applicant may also be required to submit the project to the City of Palm Springs Building & Safety Department.
Airport Administration staff is available Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to answer any questions regarding permit requirements and the submittal process at [email protected] or (760) 318-3817.
To obtain an airport permit
- Fill out the form below and attach a full set of plans.
- Airport staff will process the request and will respond within 48 hours with acknowledgment of the submittal.
- The applicant will receive an email with either plan review comments or application approval.
- Once plans are approved, the applicant will receive an approval memo.
Requirements for electronic plan submittal
- All digital files shall be in Portable Document Format (PDF) and compatible with Adobe Acrobat 8 or newer
- All layers must be flattened
- Plan sets shall be compiled as one file
- Professional stamps/seals shall be affixed to plans
- Large Construction plans shall be 24”x 36” with scale (i.e., ¼”= 1’-0” or 1/8” = 1’-0”)
- Minor Construction plans shall be 11” x 17”
