‘NYC for 2’ Tickets Giveaway

5. PRIZE DETAILS AND SELECTION: One winner will receive two round-trip tickets on the new Alaska Airlines route from PSP to JFK, subject to airline restrictions and expiration date. The winner will be selected by random drawing among all eligible entries received by 11:59 p.m. PST on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.  The random drawings will be conducted by City of Palm Springs Department of Aviation staff or their designee.  The Ticket Giveaway winner accept the award in writing within three (3) days of the date the City of Palm Springs sends notification to the winner. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to accept the award by 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday December 18, 2023, the potential winner forfeits the Ticket Giveaway Award and a new winner may be selected. Substitute winner(s) will have three (3) days to claim the Ticket Giveaway Award. The Ticket Giveaway is expressly limited to the items listed above and there is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent, except that the City of Palm Springs may, at its sole discretion, substitute an award of comparable value. The winner will be solely responsible for all taxes and all other fees and expenses associated with the receipt and use of the Ticket Giveaway Award. The City of Palm Springs is not responsible for prize utility, quality, or otherwise. 

6. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: The Ticket Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. By participating in the Ticket Giveaway, entrants agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of Palm Springs, the Palm Springs International Airport, Alaska Airlines, and their affiliates, employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant’s participation in the Ticket Giveaway and/or entrant’s acceptance, use or misuse of prize. If for any reason this Ticket Giveaway cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, incomplete or unintelligible entries, or any other causes beyond the control of the City of Palm Springs that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Ticket Giveaway, or if the Ticket Giveaway is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the City of Palm Springs reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Ticket Giveaway. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the City of Palm Springs, any award-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the City of Palm Springs reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Ticket Giveaway and shall not be required to award a substitute award. The City of Palm Springs, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the City of Palm Springs or its websites. Failure to comply with the rules of the Ticket Giveaway may result in a participant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any award. If the City of Palm Springs makes a good faith determination that cheating or fraudulent activity has occurred in connection with the Ticket Giveaway, the City of Palm Springs reserves the right to disqualify that participant from winning future promotions and to prosecute and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. PUBLICITY RELEASE:  By entering the Ticket Giveaway, entrants grant the City of Palm Springs, the Palm Springs International Airport, and Alaska Airlines the right to use their name, likeness, image, and statements made regarding the giveaway for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. This includes announcements on PSP’s website, social media, press releases, and related promotional materials. 

8. MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL ACCEPTANCE: By participating in this ticket giveaway contest, the entrant consents to receive marketing emails and promotional materials from Palm Springs International Airport, the City of Palm Springs, and Alaska Airlines.
