Parking & Transportation
Getting to and from Palm Springs International Airport is simple. Park steps from the terminal or choose from convenient ground transportation options across the Coachella Valley. Whether you’re departing, arriving, or picking someone up, PSP keeps it easy.
Parking
Our main parking lot is directly across from the terminal: close, convenient, and open to all vehicle types. During peak travel periods, an overflow lot opens with free shuttle service to the terminal.
Stays are limited to 30 consecutive days.

- First 7 minutes: Free
- $3 per 20 minutes
- $9 per hour
- $26 daily max (Main Lot)
- $18 daily max (Overflow Lot)
- $28 daily max (Oversized Vehicles)
All rates include tax.

Electric Vehicle Charging
PSP is installing more than 80 new Level 2 EV charging stations in Lot B — one of the largest airport charging projects in Southern California. These chargers are under construction now and will be available for travelers in Summer 2026.
Rideshare & Taxis
Uber and Lyft provide pickup and drop off service at PSP. Drop offs are allowed curbside in front of the terminal. Follow signage to the designated area for rideshare pickups at the south end of the terminal in the commercial lane.
Taxi Service
Taxi service is available at Palm Springs International Airport with convenient access to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Taxis pick up passengers in the designated ground transportation area outside baggage claim.

$25 Flat Fare Option
Taxis may offer a $25 flat fare for eligible trips from PSP, including airport fees. Confirm pricing with your driver before departure.

All taxi operators at PSP are licensed and regulated.
Carshare
Carshare services are available at Palm Springs International Airport through Turo, a peer to peer car rental platform connecting travelers with local vehicle hosts.
How It Works
Reserve your vehicle through the Turo app before arriving at PSP. Pickup and drop off may take place in public parking areas or at the terminal curb, depending on your reservation. Parking fees may apply.
Coordinate directly with your host to confirm location details and follow all airport guidelines.
Public Transportation
Public bus and regional transit services connect PSP to destinations throughout the Coachella Valley and beyond.
SunLine Transit Agency
SunLine provides local bus service throughout the Coachella Valley. Two stops are located a short walk from the terminal at El Cielo and Kirk Douglas Way and at Tahquitz Canyon Way and Civic Drive.
Amtrak Thruway Bus
Amtrak Thruway Bus Service operates from the north end of the terminal with service to Fullerton, California, connecting to Pacific Surfliner trains across the state.
Basin Transit Authority
Basin Transit Authority offers service from the north end of the terminal to High Desert communities including Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, and Twentynine Palms.
