Accessibility & Special Assistance

Palm Springs International Airport offers a variety of services for passengers with disabilities. In addition to airline staff, there are multiple organizations available to help travelers curbside and at key locations throughout the terminal, including Traffic Enforcement Officers (TEOs), skycaps, police officers, and Volunteer Navigators.

The first row of parking nearest to the terminal building provides spaces designated for drivers with disabilities. If you are disabled and are traveling alone, stop curbside in front of the terminal and contact a skycap or TEO at the curb to arrange for assistance with your luggage and transportation from your vehicle to the departure gate. If you are not able to locate a skycap or TEO at the curb.

Wheelchair service can be requested curbside for transportation to the departure gate on the day of travel. It is recommended that you contact your airline in advance of your trip to request wheelchair service for your entire journey.

TSA Cares is the Transportation Security Administration program that offers travel assistance for persons with disabilities or medical conditions. Call toll-free: 1 (855) 787-2227 or find out more online at www.tsa.gov.
