Rideshare
Rideshare companies Uber and Lyft (also known as Transportation Network Companies) provide pick-ups and drop-offs at the Palm Springs International Airport.
Drop-offs are allowed curbside in front of the terminal building.
For pick-ups, follow the Rideshare signage to the designated area located at the south end of the terminal, in the commercial lane across the street from WestJet Airlines.
Carshare
Turo is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace that allows you to rent cars from local hosts. Check out the platform here.
How it Works
To rent a car at PSP using Turo, choose a vehicle from the available listings and book it through the Turo app. You can pick up your rental from a public parking lot or the terminal island curbside. Parking fees may apply. Communicate with your host to confirm the exact pickup location and follow the guidelines for a smooth hand-off.
Be sure to follow all airport guidelines and use Turo’s “Location sharing” feature for easy coordination with your host. For more information, see Turo’s website.
Public Transportation
Multiple public transportation services can help you get to or from Palm Springs International Airport.
SunLine (Coachella Valley bus system)
Sunline, with two stops just a short walk from the terminal (El Cielo at Kirk Douglas and Tahquitz Canyon at Civic), provides convenient and reliable public bus transit options between the airport and destinations throughout the Coachella Valley.
AmTrak Thruway Bus
With a stop located at the north end of the terminal, Amtrak Thruway Bus Service to Fullerton, CA offers connections to Pacific Surfliner trains, extending travel possibilities throughout California.
BTA/Basin Transit Authority
With a stop located at the north end of the terminal, BTA provides public bus service to the High Desert cities of Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, 29 Palms, and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms.
