Desert in Motion

Exhibition: June 16, 2026 – January 15, 2027

Part of PSP’s rotating baggage claim columns series, Desert in Motion transforms 14 baggage claim columns into an immersive journey through the Coachella Valley. Created by local artist Patrick Barwinski, the installation blends the region’s iconic architecture, palm-lined landscapes, and dramatic desert scenery to welcome travelers with a vibrant sense of place. Selected through a competitive open call that attracted more than 270 artist submissions, the artwork is the inaugural installation of Art@PSP.
