Accessibility & Special Assistance

Palm Springs International Airport offers a variety of services for passengers with disabilities. In addition to airline staff, there are multiple organizations available to help travelers curbside and at key locations throughout the terminal, including Traffic Enforcement Officers (TEOs), skycaps, police officers, and Volunteer Navigators.

Airport Parking & Curbside Service

Accessible parking is available in the first row of each public parking lot, closest to the terminal.

Travelers who need wheelchair assistance in the terminal or to and from the aircraft should arrange service with their airline before traveling whenever possible. Wheelchair assistance is provided on behalf of the airlines by Sierra Aviation.

If you need help locating a wheelchair attendant, contact your airline representative or the nearest Airport Traffic Officer, who can assist in coordinating service.

Wheelchair Service

Wheelchair service can be requested curbside for transportation to the departure gate on the day of travel. It is recommended that you contact your airline in advance of your trip to request wheelchair service for your entire journey.

TSA Security Checkpoint Assistance

TSA Cares is the Transportation Security Administration program that offers travel assistance for persons with disabilities or medical conditions. Call toll-free: 1 (855) 787-2227 or find out more online at www.tsa.gov.
